  We purchased a "Mark" model home from phase-2 development area. It was a mistake. Pulte is considered to be a "reputable" builder, but
  
  1- looking at horrendously poor quality house they built for us,
  2- remembering the way they treated us during purchasing, building, closing process
  3- reading reviews of their other unfortunate customers
  
  Pulte is more like notorious than reputable.
  
  Let me elaborate a little more.
  
  1.a - If you believe that homes built by Pulte are of good quality, it means that you never owned or lived in a good quality home before. Because Pulte does not offer any descent interior paint upgrade, after closing we brought in a contractor to repaint the house in addition to installation of crown moulding and kitchen backsplash. It turned that out our brand new home's walls did not have straight surfaces, i.e. studs that hold the sheetrocks were not aligned properly. Also, the basic paint applied on the walls were cheapest quality that started shedding dust while our contractor was putting on new coats of paint (Benjamin Moore - Aura; highest quality paint available). So, that cheap paint Pulte used partially messed up the paint we applied later :(
  
  1.b - Pulte has no quality control policy/procedures. Their houses are built by local contractors, i.e. any joe schmo who may or may not have any qualifications in home building. During the last 2 months before closing, Pulte asked us to come and check out their work a couple times, and at each visit we inspected the house and found issues which were not fixed until the last day of closing. In fact some problems we identified were never fixed by Pulte; we finally had them fixed by our own contractor.
  
  2- We signed the purchase contract in August 2016. Pulte took its time to build our home. Until January 2017, there was no progress in construction. Then, between February and April, they rushed to finish the home, without consideration for building quality. Despite of our warnings about the issues we identified, Pulte set a date for closing and insisted that closing had to happen on that day, regardless of the remaining issues in the house. We found out that the stairs/rail upgrade we purchased wasn't finished by the time of closing (along with some of the issues that were outstanding), but Pulte didn't care. They threatened us saying that by contract we would be penalized ($200 a day) if we didn't go to closing on the day Pulte specified (despite of the fact that home was not completely finished). Unfortunately, we didn't have time, resources and patience to deal with them in court, we closed in the last minute and on a very short notice. It was extremely stressful and unpleasant.
  
  3- Just look at the reviews of others about Pulte (and specifically about "Liberty Square at Wesmont Station"). After closing, I spoke with other people in the development, they all had similar experiences with Pulte and all were very disappointed.
  
  So.., do yourself a favor and DO NOT buy from Pulte (especially not from "Liberty Square at Wesmont Station"). They are dishonest and unprofessional. You have been warned; DO NOT repeat the mistake I made.
